We just had a really really busy weekend. We were at Tanglin on Sat (6 Jun) and then Bedok CC on Sun morning (7 Jun).

On crowd at Tanglin is really good. Everyone is in the mood for buying and (of coz) bargaining. It was like a battle from the moment we reached at 3.30pm (we were late), got lost, could not find our stall... set up stall at the wrong place (you would think that stall no 3 would be after stall no 1 & 2 and btw stall 2 & 4.... BUT NO! We were suppose to be opp stall no 1... hmm... odd...
We left at about 11pm... all very tired but happy. It has been a good day. There are lots and lots of good stuff there to buy (our stall included of coz)... and Kaizer and I both bought quite a number of vintage pieces. (She bought clothes I bought jewellery). We should be bidding for a Tanglin stall again for next month... :)

And on the very next morning, we were off to Bedok CC! We were so late that we almost lose the stall... (there is a time limit on the set up timing.) The flea market at Bedok CC is a morning bazzar... it happens on the first Sun of every month. There is a crowd there because the CC organizes activites on that day and many of the residents in Bedok would come.
It is really quite fun, and there were lots of things to look at and buy... I bought a big banana plush for just $3 last month... of coz it is 2nd handed, but nothing a good wash wun settle... and I know that it cost about $30 brand new... :)

Anyway, we have booked spaces at 2 more Flea Markets!

Our first Tanglin mall flea market!

As many of you know, the stall space at Tanglin mall 2nd Hand flea market is always balloted. Lambchop missies had tried a few times and FINALLY we got a space for this Sat 6 Jun 09.

Novels by Jane Costello (2nd Hand)

I have 2 novels by this new writer - Jane Costello.

Till date she has written 2 books and I have them both. They are really good stories, and I would have loved to keep them except I do not have anymore space at home for more books. (Family is putting me on a book diet...sigh)

For both books, I have read them twice, very good condition and of coz no missing pages.

1) Bridesmaids (Four weddings without the Funeral)

2) The Nearly-Weds

Flea Market at Mount Sophia!

We have just confirmed our next Flea Market space!

Date: 11 Apr 09 (Sat) ONLY. (Flea market runs till 12 Apr, but we Sunday not free, so we will only be there for one previous day!)
Venue: 7 Mt Sophia (will try to update with a map later)
Timing: 2pm - 8pm

This time, we have 2 more friends joining us, and we will be taking 2 stalls! Do look out for us! Will update our table number or location once we get more details.
I know the event is about a month away, but we will be showcasing some of the items we plan to sell on that day. If you are interested in any items, we will just sell it to you first! (All because you come to our blog :p)

Anyway, for me, I have prepared some 2nd hand clothes (male & female), many bags (unused and 2nd hand), a few pair of shoes (almost new), and movie premiums such as notebooks and posters. I have taken a group photo of all the notebooks I plan to sell. If you like anyway, pls let me know soon.
Each notebook is going at between $5 - $15.
Remember, they are all limited editions!

I don't think I will be able to show all the movie posters I have, will list out the movies in my next post. Again, do let me know if you want any of the posters.

OMG! I cannot believe I missed the creation of our LampChops’ blogspot!

Anyway when I mention named this as the “Virgin Entry”, I literally meant it! Unbelievable but true, cos I’m not an IT savvy person to begin with. To make things worse, I’m not even Facebook literate though I do have an account. Thank god, I still know how to add friends!

Honestly, after the small success we had at cairhill, I'm really looking forward to the next one. Lets hope Lynette or Kaizer will be about to find a store for us soon. (In case you are wondering, why am I not contributing to the search...thats because I am LAZY! Anyway I set up this blog...I've done some work...)

In my excitement, I have planned out some of the items I am going to sell at the next flea market.
- Of coz there is the usual clothes. But this time, I will probably bring more jeans and pants to sell.
- Jewellery
- Shoes (I missed that out the previous time...)
- Movie posters (I have the originals... but they won't go cheap...)

In the future, I will also have books (mostly all romances, English & Chinese), dolls, and guys' clothings. :)

It happened one Sunday morning;

@ The annual Cross Road Garage Sale

Where: Cairhill CC

When: 8 March 09

Timing: 9am - 6pm (we started late @ 11.30am)

This is the first time 3 of us group together to get a store in a flea market. Response to our products was good, with many customers asking if we do this often and where we would be next.
So in response to such good support, plus we actually liked selling @ flea markets. We have decide to set up a blog to inform supporters of where and when we manage to get ourselves at a flea market. As Lynette does enjoy selling items online, we will also be offering items for sale on this blog from time to time, usually the higher priced items.
